WGN's SALEM!

Soo...what did you think?

And what about the decision of the network to make the pilot episode available for free via Amazon?

  1. I thought this series was really creepy. I definitely think it will find a following, I'm just not part of it. I keep seeing the promos for it and I keep having flash backs to watching it. I think them releasing on amazon was a good promotional thing and will build buzz around the series.

  4. I thought this show was pushing it a bit too far and the storyline was being stretched too thin. I think that it needs to be more simplified and the crazy "devil" worshipping and witchcraft needs to be scaled back just a tad. Like many people in the class said, the show was trying too hard

  6. So, I have mixed feelings about this show...
First off, the visual effects and costumes seem to have a "cheap" feeling to me; like we're watching a show from the early 90's (it seems outdated). There's also that "corny" feeling, from not only the imagery but the acting and plot as well, that you would get from a 90's TV series. However silly it may seem, it made itself entertaining to watch. I would watch more to find out what happens next (though I wouldn't go out of my way). But I also don't think it's for everyone.
